Results of All ITER TF Full-Size Joint Sample Tests in Japan

چکیده

Nine toroidal field (TF) coils have been developed in Japan for the international thermonuclear experimental reactor (ITER). The joint resistance of TF coil should satisfy requirement smaller than 3 nano-ohm at 2 T external magnetic and 68 kA transport current. Full-size sample (FSJS) tests were performed development manufacture, as part process control. 11 FSJS are conducted total. with assistance from a test faculty National Institute Fusion Science reported previous paper. All successfully satisfied less nΩ T. Additionally, joints subjected to cyclic electromagnetic force warm-up/cool-down during ITER operation. authors investigated performance abovementioned influence. results showed no degradation resistance. Thus, was qualified successfully.

Comparison of Common Paraclinical Tests' Results in Semnan Province with the Global Reference Ranges: a Cross Sectional Study with High Sample Size

Abstract Background and Objective: Knowledge about normal range of tests is one of the most important parameters in correct interpretation of the results. Accordingly, we decided to determine normal range of common paraclinical tests in Semnan and compare them with global reference ranges. Material and Methods:  The data from Khatam-al-Anbia laboratory from year 2011 to 2013 ev...

Sample Size and Tests of Measurement Invariance

Measurement equivalence/invariance (ME/I) can be thought of as operations yielding measures of the same attribute under different conditions (Horn & McArdle, 1992). These different conditions include stability of measurement over time (Golembiewski, Billingsley, & Yeager, 1975), across different populations (e.g., cultures; Riordan & Vandenberg, 1994), different mediums of measurement administr...

Finite Sample Size Optimality of GLR Tests

In binary hypothesis testing, when the hypotheses are composite or the corresponding data pdfs contain unknown parameters, one can use the well known generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) to reach a decision. This test has the very desirable characteristic of performing simultaneous detection and estimation in the case of parameterized pdfs or combined detection and isolation in the case of ...

Bayesian Sample Size Determination for Joint Modeling of Longitudinal Measurements and Survival Data

A longitudinal study refers to collection of a response variable and possibly some explanatory variables at multiple follow-up times. In many clinical studies with longitudinal measurements, the response variable, for each patient is collected as long as an event of interest, which considered as clinical end point, occurs. Joint modeling of continuous longitudinal measurements and survival time...
